Functional Art

Our farm is graced with an amazing 40'x70' barn.  Raised in 1840 the barn features hand-hewn hemlock timbers.  It suffered cracked posts on the north side due to snow load during the winter of 2010.  A combination of insurance funds and a State of Vermont Barn Grant funded most of its repair.  Silas Treadway of Upstream Builders did an amazing work to ensure the barn will grace the landscape and serve the farm for many years to come.
