Nestled in the valley along the 1st Branch of Vermont's White River our 35-acre farm combines a long tradition of farming with a fresh perspective. Anissa is a multi-generation Vermonter with deep roots in this valley and Mike has set roots in Tunbridge after growing up in the Midwest and other New England states. We balance jobs off the farm with caring for the animals and farm.

Our Herd
We are committed to the flavor of heritage pork. This spring we welcome litters sired by our 3/4 Large Black 1/4 Old Spot boar from Rossi Farm in Rhode Island. We maintain six purebred heritage sows. Two Large Black sows, Apple and Libby, two Tamworths, Lucky and Star, and two Berkshires, Panda and Berky. Whether you are interested in feeder piglets to raise for your family or breeding stock you will be impressed by the strength of heritage breed pigs.
Pasture Raised Meat
PORK
During the winter we pasture raise our hardy, fall litters pigs. Sheltered in a low pole shed atop a sunny hillside the pigs are feed grain from Morrison's Custom Feeds and hay. This winter we have raised Berky and Panda fall litters. These hardy pigs demonstrate the strengths of parents. Growing steadily these pigs are market ready in May. We've reserved spots at the Royal Butcher and Green Mountain Smokehouse for processing. If you are interested in purchasing a whole or half, please reach out.
Our pork is sold by the whole or half with all costs included. This differs from most Vermont raised meats. A hanging weight cost of $4.50 a pound includes everything. You determine what cuts you would like and we take care of the logistics. The Royal Butcher slaughters, custom cuts, and vacuum seals non-smoked meat. We transport bacon and ham to Green Mountain Smokehouse. When all meat is done you pick up the boxes of delicious pork.
CHICKEN
The Freedom Ranger chickens are available frozen. They were processed on the farm and shrink packaged. Whole birds are available for $3.25 per pound.
